You are suffering from Survivor Guilt!
Aha! that explains it … the anxiety, antsy-ness, irritability … the wanting to do something … but what? So much devastation in our communities, but not us!
I haven’t processed it all but this has put me at peace, because the Lord has been speaking HIS words into my soul. Can I just share them with you in the hopes that He speaks to your soul too.
I call these random, but nothing is random if God is the Source:
This is a recurring thought —

About not analyzing motives (which can’t always be clearly discerned), Pauls’ attitude —

And as my Physical Therapist reminded me, “I need to continue to do what I am doing well. I never know whom I may minister to through just doing my work consistently and well.”
Lord,
Thank you for your revelation that YOU are living in and through me in YOUR way for YOUR glory, no matter how small, and no matter how imperfectly your instrument (me) responds to needs.
YOU are manifesting YOURSELF in and through it all.
Keep on providing for the needs around us through your people.
